What information do we collect?
The process of ordering a product requires the creation of an account. To create an account, we require your name, email address, billing and shipping address, credit card number and expiration date. This information allows us to carry out your order as well as notify you about any order updates. We also ask users to create a special username and password which you can use whenever you want to log into your personal INNO NUTRITION account. The usage of an account prevents users from having to re-enter personal information. When we host contests or other promotional events, we ask for your name, address and email address so that we can regulate the contest and notify the winners. When you submit a "Contact Us" message via our contact us page of our website, we need your name, email address and question, however, we do not store this information. We simply use this information to be able to answer and respond to your question. After we have offered a response, we dispose of this information. If a user chooses to submit a product or overall review, we require your name, email, review description and location so that we may store the review and display it on our site. Although you can choose not to have your name or location attached to your review, we still require the following information so that we can keep the review on file for internal records. Like most common websites, we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type and date/time stamp. We also examine the number of clicks so we can analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc are not linked to information capable of personal identification.
How do we use the collected information?
Other than the reasons specified above, we may use your information to occasionally contact and notify you about some service we offer, some new functionality changes to our site, some policy changes and often some special offers exclusive to email newsletter subscribers. We also constantly run proactive servers, network and facility network audits, proprietary encryption algorithms for database storage, redundant systems and data backup.
Information with outside parties
INNO NUTRITION may provide statistics of our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to creditable third-party vendors, however, these statistics will never include any personal identification information. We use outside shipping companies to ship our orders (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx) and a credit card processing company to process payments and bill goods and services. These companies may receive personal identification information to allow the order process to be smooth. These companies will not retain, share, store or use any personal identification information for any other purpose other than what it is meant for. Your personal data will be stored on file as long as your account is active. When an account is deactivated or inactive, it will automatically delete from our records. To have your account deleted, please contact us and ask us to deactivate your account. If a user's personal information changes (postal code, email, phone number, address) please contact our customer service team, or update your profile in the account manager. We may share non-identifiable information such as zip codes with our business partners for demographic purposes. They will not be able to personally identify you with this information. We may share browsing or buying patterns with our third-party vendors to help rearrangement of product placement on our web site with products that we think you may be interested in. This information will never include any personal information.
INNO NUTRITION uses tracking technology and may send anonymous information about customer web browsing habits to a third-party company. Links in our email promotions to subscribers are tracked via Web Beacons once you arrive on our site. Web Beacons transmit information such as your operating system, browser, resolution, geographical location, products ordered and order total. This information is used to transmit knowledge to our webmasters and marketers of customer behaviour as well as understand the effectiveness of online and email promotions. The information is submitted anonymously and no personal or sensitive information is provided. INNO NUTRITION operates the sending of the order and customer service related messages internally at our office, as well as advertised emails. INNO NUTRITION service providers do not retain nor use your personal information, including your email address for any purpose except to provide services on our behalf.
Email related information
INNO NUTRITION provides emails regarding order confirmation and order tracking after an order is placed. These emails are essential to ensure that the order is delivered correctly, thus you cannot unsubscribe or cancel these emails. You are provided with the opportunity to sign up for our newsletter, which can be unsubscribed from at any time. You can unsubscribe by selecting the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each newsletter. If need be, you can contact our customer support team to unsubscribe from our newsletter.
